The jewelry never failed its wearer. The forest folk were spoken of as: "renowned beautiful wanderers," whose evening gatherings, music, and songs reached the villages. "The forest sang, the backwoods boomed," the villagers explained in the following days. Among the people, stories of the forest folk passed from father to son for hundreds of years. Among the forest folk, the jewelry, like words, passed from father to son and mother to daughter. Each of them was known by their jewelry.
