Shaman Drum "Shield"

A handmade, tunable shaman drum made from Finnish reindeer hide and birch plywood.
The tunable drum's strong membrane is water-stained, and the birch plywood frame is treated with natural wood wax. The frame's diameter is 41cm and its height is 10cm.
The drum comes with the beater shown in the picture, wet-felted from sheep's wool and made specifically for this drum. Drum care instructions are also included.
The excellence of the tunable drum lies in its easy tuning with an air pump. Between the hide and the frame is a bicycle inner tube, with the valve on the inside of the frame.
The drum was made by the craft company Korppi-rumpu, with 20 years of experience.
